A Gift for Life
As a professional portrait artist, the majority of my work is commissioned for gifts. Whilst we tend to replace old photos in a frame, original artwork never dates. Drawings and paintings are much more personal and make the perfect memento. Some people have even described them as heirlooms!

We all love our pets as they are very much part of the family; what better way than to have them showcased than as an original piece of artwork, be it a drawing or painting. A LOVED ONE
I have drawn many people during my career and am renowned for capturing extraordinary likeness and the character of the subject drawn. In fact, the drawing you see here is my late father. I drew this in a matter of days so we could have it printed on the Order of Service at his funeral. My mother has the original drawing on a wall close to where he used to sit and she carries a scanned copy in a frame with her wherever she stays. She feels he is always with her!
Creative process
Initially, this is most certainly a two-way process! Many of you will not have commissioned a piece of artwork before so it can therefore be a daunting thought. However, I am here to help and guide you through this most satisfying journey. Please see the step by step process in the ‘Information’ tab.
