Frequently asked question

How long does it take you to draw a portrait?

This can vary.  Generally a drawing will take roughly 20hours, per subject.   The clearer the photograph supplied, the easier and better the drawing will be, especially with regard to capturing the personality/character of a person/pet.

What else can you draw?

Pretty much anything!  Please contact me and we can discuss your requirements in more detail.

When will I receive my drawing?

I usually require a lead-time of 4 weeks, particularly at busy times of the year, i.e Christmas.  Please contact me if you need a drawing sooner as I may be able to 'slot' you in.  You also need to think about framing time - I can talk this through with you.

What is the biggest drawing you can do?

I generally work on A2 paper as this is the easiest to handle.  However, I have drawn on bigger.  Whatever the size of the drawing, the time taken remains the same.

Besides pencil drawings. Do you use anything else?

YES!  I use pastels and ink and am venturing into oil and acrylic!
